The Lewis Center has learning opportunities to help you become the leader God is calling you to be.

If you are a lay or clergy leader, Lewis Center training is available through conferences, live-stream events, and video resources.

If you are a seminary student, the Lewis Center supports Wesley Theological Seminary’s curricular offerings in leadership, administration, and stewardship, helping to assure that students graduate with the practical leadership skills necessary for fruitful ministry. Lewis Center staff teach master’s level courses including “Best Practices in Church Leadership and Administration” (CM-133), “Healthy Stewardship in the Local Church” (CM-142), “Church Finances” (CM-137), and “Personal Finances for Religious Professionals” (CM-135).

If you are looking for continuing education or professional development, the Lewis Center offers online courses on a variety of subjects related to fruitful leadership. Additionally, any of the curricular offerings listed above can be taken for continuing education credit.

If you are in the early years of ministry, the Lewis Center, with support from the Lilly Endowment, Inc., offers intensive, ongoing leadership development to select groups of young clergy who quality for Lewis Fellows or Lewis Community Leadership Fellows cohorts.

If you are seeking an advanced degree in church leadership, the Lewis Center is the guiding force in shaping and executing Wesley’s popular Doctor of Ministry track in Church Leadership Excellence.
