New Lewis Center Training Resource for Clergy Preparing to Move to a New Congregation

The Lewis Center for Church Leadership has assembled a new video-based training resource for clergy preparing to begin ministry in a new setting. This resource is designed for group training sessions conducted by conferences, districts, or other judicatories. It includes video sessions presented by Dr. Lovett H. Weems, Jr., director of the Lewis Center and distinguished professor of church leadership at Wesley Theological Seminary. The video presentations are in segments that make it easy to use selected sessions and to intersperse input with group discussion. It is also easy to modify the material to fit different time frames and to use in conjunction with other topics covered by local leadership. The package also includes handouts, sermon and worship planning resources, supplementary materials, and planning resources to assist training participants in making a successful personal transition.*
