"Practices that Lead to Greater Giving"
An Education Event for Lay and Clergy Leaders
The plenary speakers will be Dr. David McAllister Wilson, President of Wesley Theological Seminary, and Dr. Lovett H. Weems, Jr., Distinguished Professor of Church Leadership and Director of the Lewis Center for Church Leadership at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Other members of the Lewis Center and Wesley Seminary staff will also provide leadership.

Participants will choose three of the five workshops offered. The subjects adddressed are:
  • Moving People from 1st Time Givers to Joyful Generosity
  • Your Church's Thank You System
  • Resources You Can Use to Offer Personal Financial Planning
    in Your Church
  • Stewardship Education in Worship
  • What Laity Wish Their Pastor Knew about Economic Life
    (a clergy workshop)
