From Virginia — traveling through Rosslyn, Arlington, etc.:
Cross the Key Bridge heading north into D.C. and turn left onto M Street. Stay in the right lane. M Street becomes Foxhall Road. Continue on Foxhall Road about 4 miles through a wooded residential area until it ends at Nebraska Avenue.
Turn right and follow Nebraska Avenue through one stoplight. Stay in the right lane to enter Ward Circle at the second stoplight. Travel three quarters around the circle and take westbound Massachusetts Avenue. The seminary is a third of a mile down the hill on the left, just past The American University entrance. Mapquest Map
From Virginia — traveling I-95 North from below D.C.:
Travel I-95 North to the Capitol Beltway/I-495 North. Be sure the sign says "North." Take the exit to the right that says "I-95 and I-495 North to Tysons Corner". Do not go toward Baltimore. Stay on the Beltway through Virginia and into Maryland. Take exit 39 on to River Road in Maryland. Travel up to ramp, turn right onto River Road.
Follow River Road for several miles, entering D.C. when you cross Western Ave. At the next light, turn right on to46th St. Follow 46th St. 1 mile to Massachusetts Ave. Turn left on to Massachusetts Ave. The Wesley campus will be on your right. Turn in at the driveway a quarter mile up the hill. Mapquest Map
From Maryland
Take I-270 to I-495 heading toward Tysons Corner, Virgina. Take exit #39 on to River Road. Or take I-95 and, at the split, take I-495 – Silver Spring not I-95 South or downtown D.C.) Travel on I-495 for several miles. After I-270 merges with I-495, take exit 39 on to River Road in Maryland.
Follow River Road for several miles, entering D.C. when you cross Western Avenue. At the next light, turn right on to 46th Street. Follow 46th Street 1 mile to Massachusetts Avenue.
