Thomas G. James

Thomas G. James serves as resource manager for the Lewis Center and is responsible for developing and distributing the Center’s leadership resources using electronic media, distance-learning strategies, and newer technologies. He was promoted to this position in 2009 after serving a year as a part-time assistant for research and programming.
Rev. James has held positions in several churches, serving as a youth director, worship leader, and campus ministry associate. He has worked extensively with youth and young adults at the local and conference level. He is currently a provisional elder in the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He serves a dual appointment, working with the Lewis Center, and as pastor for contemporary worship at Centreville UMC in Centreville, VA.
